Hi guys... Time to review another Spongebob episode. And Patrick is once again the protagonist... And considering the last episodes I reviewed... Anyway... Let's just get over with it 'kay?
Alright the writers of this episode are:Luke Brookshier
: OH YOU KNOW WHO THIS FUCKER IS.Tom King
: This guy had only wrote one bad episode. So he's good to me.Steven Banks
: This guy wrote Friend or Foe. And the Class of Triton.
Alright, the episode starts with Patrick reading a comic book outloud inside a comic store annoying the costumers. So he decides to eat the comic book for some reason. Spongebob then comes by and Patrick burps a piece of the comic book on Spongebob's face.
Well, whatever it is, it's mine! Unless I don't want it! SpongeBob, what do all these words say?"
It's an ad. Dear Comic Book Reader."
Have you ever thought about turning one of your poems into a hit song on the radio?"
I never thought about anything!"
Send in your poem and $100 and we'll make it a hit! Can we go now? My arms are getting tired."
So Dumbass the Starfish steals $100 from Spongebob and Spongebob get's kicked out of the store. OH GOD, IT'S YOURS MINE AND MINE ALL OVER AGAIN.
I don't think we need to progress any further. This episode is without a doubt, SHIT.Final Rank:
Well guys, see you on the next revie-
...Steven? What are you doing here?
U CENT STAHP NAOW!
Why? This episode is obviously shit.
Really? What makes you say that?
CONTINEU DA RIVIW END U WIIL SII!
And why should I do that?
IF YOU DON'T I WILL FORCE YOU TO WATCH MLP PORN!
Ugh... Fine. I'll do it.
Alright guys. Change of plans. We will continiue. Even thought I know this episode it's shit. So dumbass the starfish decides to write his master piece. So he asks Spongebob if he can do it on his house. WAIT. You don't need to tell me what's gonna happen.LET'S JUST STOP HERE BEFORE SOMETHING AWFUL HAPPENS
So Patrick tries to write his song but fails and Spongebob tells him he needs to use his mind to write. And that reminds Patrick a poem he wrote on gym class when he was on the Elementary. Everyone made fun of him and threw balls at him.
That's... kinda sad. I mean, he lost his sister AND he was the school's clown? Gee. Now I feel bad for him. To be perfectly honest with you guys. So far Patrick is perfectly in-character (Despite the begining). And this backstory just makes Patrick quite sympathetic. So Patrick pretty much explains Spongebob why he can't show his artistic side
I'm worried my poem's not going to be any good and you're going to hit me with dodgeballs."
Um... Patrick. You do know you're not in Elementary anymore right? Yet again. It's Patrick we're talking about. Not to mention that we're dealing with a childhood trauma. Anyway, Patrick decides that he will write that song whathever happens.
: If you're serious, I can do this. I'm going to use my brain."YES! MAKE US PROUD PATRICK!
Patrick finally uses his brain and he succedes at writing his song. Which for some reason is a pile of shit. Yeah, gross-out humor here. But that's not gonna stop us! At the Music Company the band records the song and dies in the process. Well, we didn't knew who these guys are anyway! So Patrick get's his song and he and Spongebob go to the Pineapple to hear it. The result is just pure amazement.www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aw0G6n…
THIS SONG. THIS FUCKING SONG DESCRIBES PATRICK PERFECTLY! It's one of the songs that it's so bad it's good. Only this time is actually good. And really funny to be honest. And don't forget that this was written by Patrick. A guy more dumb than a rock.
And as about describing Patrick. He's a loveable and really funny idiot. And this song makes that quite clear. Anyway, after the song. Spongebob say's that Patrick's song is so good that he should put it on the radio. And remember when I said that this song is on the So Bad is Good
category? You'll see. Patrick and Spongebob go to the radio station to play it. And since the song is terrible they get kicked. So Patrick and Spongebob decide to climb the radio tower to play the song. And of course, Spongebob climbs the radio tower while Patrick mounds him. Remember when I said the song described Patrick perfectly? Well, this part describes Patrick once again. This time it describes that he's lazy. Is that part bad? Not quite. The duo reachers the top and Patrick sticks a record player with the the disc on the antenna and the whole city goes apeshit. No seriously. THEY GO COMPLETLEY APESHIT!
Spongebob and Patrick think they love it because both of them are a little oblivious. Is this bad? In this episode no. In others? It depends. So the Bikini Bottomites form (ONCE AGAIN!) a angry mob. Spongebob and Patrick then decide to give them another song (Which is also hillarious.)
The Bikini Bottomites say it's not that bad and Patrick's gym coach comes out of the mob and makes the Bikini Bottomites throw balls at him. And the episode ends here....
What can I say? This was without a doubt a great episode. Let's see the positivies first shall we?
-Patrick is perfectly in character here and really sympathetic.
-Spongebob is also likeable and in-character.
-The humor is very good.
-The songs are great.
-The episode pretty much described Patrick as a character.
And now let's look at the negatives shall we?
-The begining reminded us a TERRIBLE
-The shit on a letter joke was disgusting.
-People died on that episode.
-Spongebob was abused a little.
Overall. I really liked this episode. It was funny, it had great songs, and the ending was actually ok.
Final Rank: Incredible.
Alright. What do we have next?
WHAT IN THE WHOLE NAME OF FUCK?
